This year the Seminole Soccer Club will host the 17th Annual Seminole soccer
Girls Fall Festival. As one of the longest running tournaments in Florida,
each of the past tournaments has proven to be great events. Last year
we attracted over 100 teams and we expect to accept even more this year. Surrounded
by the local attractions, theme parks, and all that the area has to offer,
this is the place to bring your team for the Columbus Day weekend. You
will compete at some of the best soccer fields in the central Florida area
at the Seminole Soccer Complex (11 fields) home of the Seminole Soccer Club,
the Adjacent Sylvan lake Park (6 fields) and The Central Winds Park.
FYSA Rosters info
With the rule changes that occurred at the AGM on August 2004, the official
FYSA Roster is the downloaded FYSA roster, and for guest players, the signed
guest player forms attached to the roster is all that is required.
TOURNAMENT FORMAT:
Each team will have a minimum of three (3) games in their pool play. A
typical schedule would include two (2) games on Saturday and one (1) game
on Sunday. For all teams that advance, the finals will be played on
Sunday afternoon.
AGE GROUPS FOR TEAMS:
U13 U19 11 a side
U11/U12 8 A side including the keeper
U9 /U10 6 A side including the keeper
Application procedure
To enter, simply complete tan application form and mail it in or you can
register online with a Credit Card. The entry deadline is September 20th. Any
team entering after the September 20th deadline must pay an additional $25. Space
is limited, so please submit early. A check or money order made payable
to Players Sports Marketing must accompany all applications. Fees are
$350 for u9-u10 teams, $400 for U11/U12 teams, while they are $450 for all
other age groups.
AWARDS:
Following the completion of each Championship Match, the two teams will
present themselves to the tournament awards area. 1st and 2nd place
teams will receive awards. All Participants will receive a tournament
patch.
ACCEPTANCE:
Acceptance packages will be emailed to team contact after deadline and will
include a roster form, area and site maps, medical release forms, &
tournament rules. Any team that is accepted and later withdraws will
forfeit their application fee. Non-accepted teams will be notified
as soon as possible, and their fee will be returned immediately. Teams
will be turned away once their age group is filled. So register early
TEAM CHECK-IN:
Team Check-in will be on October 6th and it will begin at 6:30 p.m. and
must conclude by 8:30 p.m. Team Check-in will be at the Lake mary Marriott
(407) 995-1100. There
will be no coaches meeting. In order to shorten time required for check-in,
please have roster, medical release forms, and player passes in alphabetical
order.
